Along with many organisations, Orthopaedic Associates Melbourne has put additional precautions into place to ensure the safety of our patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Getting in Touch
We are currently experiencing a higher than usual volume of calls. To ensure we get your message as quickly as possible, we recommend you email email@example.com
We are still able to make new appointments and see new patients, especially if you have an urgent case such as a fracture, acute tendon tear/rupture, or infection. To make an appointment, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
All appointments are currently conducted via videoconference or telephone, unless your surgeon believes a face-to-face appointment is necessary. You will be contacted before your appointment with details of how to connect with your surgeon.
Due to the federal government’s direction of 26 March 2020, all surgeries for conditions that are not life-threatening have now been cancelled. This includes most orthopaedic procedures. If this your scheduled surgery has been affected, we will contact you directly.
As we all know, this is a rapidly evolving situation. If recommendations change, our clinic will quickly react to update its arrangements. Although at this point we cannot predict what these changes may be, we will update you immediately if any of them affect your upcoming appointments, surgeries or care.
Should you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact your surgeon or email us at email@example.com
